Busy Bees

We have been reading a lovely book called 'The Bear and the Bees' which looks at how we are all unique.  This prompted the children to have a look at the various similarities and differneces between them and their friends.

Last week we were busy creating using various techniques.  We used collage and explored different colours and textures. Using what we learned we made lots of bees and a beautiful hive for our bees to visit.

We'd like to say a big thank you to all of the parents for getting stuck in and creating wonderful boxes with the children.  We had a great time on Friday looking through the boxes and seeing all of the things that made each child unique.
