I am excited to be starting my third year teaching Year 6 at St Joseph's. I am Key Stage 2 lead and also lead English, Pupil Premium and Music across school. I enjoy all aspects of teaching and particularly enjoy sharing my love of reading and music.
Outside school, I can often be found running, walking up a hill or reading. I am looking forward to seeing what the new year brings.

Hello!
I am very excited to be back teaching in Year 5 this year, I enjoy outdoor activities and developing positive relationships with the children. My favourite subjects to teach would be French, Science (I particularly love experiments!) and Forest School. I continue to lead Philosophy for Children (P4C) this year and I am also looking forward to working alongside Miss L Bennett as deputy PE lead.
When I am not at school, I enjoy going to the gym, long walks with my dog Ted and time with my family. I enjoy reading, particularly crime thriller books. Every year I like to challenge myself and raise money for charity, this year, it will be a sky-dive for St. Luke's Hospice!

This is my second year teaching at St. Joseph’s and this will be my eighth year teaching in KS2. I am very excited about the upcoming year and all of the fun learning experiences that we will have in Year 5/6.
When I am not in school, I enjoy reading, running, drinking tea and decorating my new house. I love to travel and experience different cultures and have visited many countries around the world! I am very passionate about teaching art, history, geography and languages and I am really looking forward to sharing these passions with Year 5/6.

Welcome to Year 5 and 6!

We are all excited about the Autumn Term when we will be learning all about Anglo Saxons, South America and the Amazon. The Year 5 and 6 teachers have planned lots of exciting lessons including opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.

The topics that we have planned this year are going to be very exciting and will provide plenty opportunities for us to be creative. If you are able to help with any aspect of our learning please speak to the class teacher.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Year 5 and 6 team or email the main office.
