Holy Rosary

In year 5/6 we have been celebrating the month of the Holy Rosary throughout October. We have had class discussions about what we already knew about the Holy Rosary, some children were able to talk about the Rosary beads they had at home. We then completed some research using iPads to find out more about each of the mysteries associated with the Holy Rosary, children were excited to discover that there are set days to focus on each mystery. Using everything they have learnt the children have worked in groups to apply this and plan their own collective worship focusing on a mystery from the Holy Rosary. Children will now go on to lead these collective worship sessions in class over the next week. If children would like to bring in any Rosary beads from home to show in class, now would be a lovely time to do so.
