Nursery blog Week Beginning 25th June

We have been focusing our learning on the story 'The Journey Home'. On Monday 25th June, Nursery will be going on a 'pretend journey', your child will need to bring a small bag with some items that they would take with them to a hot destination! Throughout the learning session we will act out going on a journey, please keep up to date with the blog I will write a detailed account of our adventure!

Some Little Reminders

Please remember to apply sun cream to your child on hot days and provide a sun hat.

We are still looking for mystery readers, the children love to guess who is reading a story at the end of the day! Please come and see a member of the team if you would like to be a mystery reader.

We change reading books every Friday, please write a comment in the diary we love to hear your comments.

We also enjoy hearing about your childrens learning and development at home, if you feel that there is a 'Wow Moment' write it down on a post it, email it or add it to the 2 simple profile. 

Parents of the children who are continuing their Nursery journey in September are invited to a meeting on Wednesday 11th July at 2pm.

Home Learning

To pack a small bag with some items that yur child would like to take on a journey to a hot destination. Talk to your child about their ideas and ask them questions. Please  involve your child with this activity it is great for problem solving, speaking, listening and thinking about the world around them.
